What is it?
Gyrotonic is a series of intelligently choreographed exercises performed on a state-of-the-art piece of equipment that is designed around the human body. It allows total freedom of movement and enhances coordination, strength and flexibility. It emphasizes multiple joint articulations without compression, thus strengthening ligaments and augmenting fascial health of the body.
Each exercise is synchronized with a corresponding breathing pattern creating gentle but vigorous cardiovascular-aerobic stimulation. Special attention is paid to the functional capacity of the spine significantly making one less prone to injuries.

What is a class like?
Gyrotonic classes are experienced one-on-one is a beautiful home studio and are 60 minutes long. During the 60 minutes you are taken through 5–6 series of exercises interacting with the machine in different facings, with different pulleys, weights, intentions and choreographies. At the completion of a GT class you will feel re-aligned, lengthened, strengthened, deeply stimulated, energized but calm.
Who can benefit?
Gyrotonic classes can be adapted to fit anyone’s ability. The Gyrotonic method is practiced by people from all walks of life, including accomplished athletes, dancers and people versed in other movement systems as well as mature movers, and people with disabilities.
